To empty myself, I used to take photographs. It is a renewal as well as a meditation to me. I like to capture simple and tranquil scenes in nature turning the focus away from daily routines. From these scenes, I can find an intimate connection to nature, thus beauty, thus truth.
I am always burdened by thoughts that never cease, desires that never fulfill and goals that never end. Capturing serenity of nature is an activity that allows me to be relaxed and thoughtless to an extent and to live right on the moment. It is an experience that I can have glimpses of my inner self through the outer manifestations.
I thought of my work as something unfinished and it will always be as long as I exist. This is what I might keep on doing. We are to leave traces behind, photographs or whatever, before the journey completely ends.
